Environmental Claims & Verification
Delamark products comply with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2024/825. We clearly explain our environmental claims so you can understand what stands behind each of them. Production processes are organized in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management principles and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Environmental Labelling
Delamark products are certified under the Green Crane environmental labelling programme, which complies with the requirements of ISO 14024 (Type I). This means that an independent third party evaluates the products against environmental criteria throughout their life cycle.
Cruelty-Free
Our products are not tested on animals. Delamark is included in the Cruelty Free Kitty database of cruelty-free brands — an independent platform that reviews company policies regarding animal testing.
UN Global Compact Membership
Delamark is a participant of the United Nations Global Compact, a UN initiative focused on responsible business practices and sustainable development. Participants of the Global Compact support 10 principles related to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption practices. Participation reflects the company’s commitment to integrating responsible business practices and sustainable development principles into its operations.
Responsible Packaging Sourcing
For products packed in boxes, we use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified cardboard. This means that the raw material comes from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources. The certification confirms compliance with environmental and social requirements throughout the production process. For liquid products packed in plastic containers, we use HDPE 2 — a material that is widely accepted for recycling across Europe.
Plant-Based Ingredients
We give preference to surfactants derived from plant-based raw materials instead of fossil resource-based components where possible. The origin of the raw materials is confirmed by documentation and certificates provided by our suppliers.
Biodegradable Formulas
We use ingredients that are biodegradable in accordance with EU legislation requirements for detergents. This means that they break down through natural processes. Thanks to this, our products can be used in homes with septic systems and in conditions with limited sewage infrastructure, including campers and travel use.
Concentrated Formulas
Our products provide effective cleaning while using a small amount of product. Recommended dosage instructions are indicated on the packaging. This helps optimize resource use and reduce packaging and transportation volumes.
